CL development presents its newest, patented suspension product exclusively available for Subaru Impreza. Originally designed and engineered for the Impreza, the X-brace fits all sedans MY02+ (2.5RS / 2.5i, WRX, and STi) and will soon be available for the wagon models.
The X-brace bolts directly behind and flush with the rear seats, continuing to allow use of pass though and without any loss of trunk space. No body modifications or drilling are needed to install.
This X-brace is handmade of high strength chromolly (not mild steel) with Orange end caps.
The results are positive and immediate. With the X-brace reinforcing the chassis, the car now handles how it was meant to, without body flex. Without the chassis acting as a spring, suspension is now fully able to do its job, allowing for smoother and more precise suspension feel. The X-brace presents a rare case where performance and comfort can be achieved simultaneously.
