Want relief from that stupid hood support always being in your way? We introduce our EasyUp Hood Dampers.
Unlike our competition, our struts are inverted which reduces the high risk of strut failure. Being inverted, the seal between the housing and the shaft is always lubricated. If you have a strut(like the competition) where the housing is on the fender side facing up, over time the seal will fail because the seal is not in the oil bath and the wiper will dry out (if there is one) and grit will eventually get in it.
We also have a controlled valve so that at the end of the stroke it does not pop.

Hood is only assisted when hood is opened past 45 deg.
